Just over a week ago, I got to meet one of “my” twitter peeps. I’d been following Nicole for a long time and we’d even talked back and forth a bit…and yet never really “connected.” All that changed thanks to a mutual friend and next thing I knew, Baby L was in the studio for her newborn session at 10 days old. Its still such a joy to be able to work with a brand new family and observe THEIR joy and hear all the fun stories!
Nicole and hubby are first time parents, but you’d never know it. Whether or not they feel like it, they exude confidence and are just completely, totally in love with their Baby L. Its no wonder…she’s very nearly a perfect baby. She sleeps well, eats well and calms as soon as her Daddy talks to her. Going out on a limb here, I’m guessing that her Daddy is wrapped very tightly around her little finger after just a few days. 🙂
People often ask when its the best time to have newborn pictures created, and then laugh when their photographer tells them that “on the way home from the hospital” would be great, but its true. The younger the baby, the more sleepy they tend to be (which of course isn’t true for EVERY baby, just many). If you’re expecting and know that you want to have a newborn session with your little one, don’t wait till they’re born. Contact us before baby arrives, so that we can make sure to plan ahead in our schedules, holding a spot for you. Many independent photogs only accept a small number of sessions each week or month, so making arrangements sooner is always better. Don’t worry, we understand that things rarely work out as “scheduled!”
Here’s one more of Baby L. If you’d like to see more of her perfection, feel free to click here and visit her gallery.
Or, you could just stick around and watch her slideshow, which apparently has made Baby L’s daddy sing to her for days now! Its so fun when music choices “work” so well for a session!
