What in the world does limelight have to do with peasant tops and big ruffles? It just so happens that they’re all elements of Matilda Jane’s newest clothing line for girls, “Paint By Numbers.” Matilda Jane approached me about being part of their blog party and I happily accepted. Another photographer that I follow just RAVES about their clothing, and I have to admit, I’m pretty impressed! The service was fantastic, communication about the project was pretty fabulous (especially considering the distance, they’re based in Indiana!) and I’m just all-around impressed.
So, our daughter and neighbor girl just happen to be the same size? Serendipity, maybe? Either way, it was a BLAST to watch them modeling the outfit that MJ sent for us to review. Both girls loved it, our daughter said how comfortable the pants are (seriously, she wanted to keep wearing them!) and the craftsmanship is great, too! Those who know me know that I’ve sewn professionally, so I do tend to be kind of picky about that!
This was such a fun “project.” Thank you to the ladies at Matilda Jane who made it possible and for being patient when the package didn’t so up quite when we expected it to be here! The links below are shopping information, if you’re curious and want to check them out! This is SUCH a cute combination and it’ll be fun to see what some of the rest of you come up with! That’s the joy of Matilda Jane, you really can mix and match!
If you’re as weak at putting outfits together as I am, then don’t worry, the MJ website has some suggestions for you, like the one below!
