Warren is a Palmyra High School graduate, who had my grandfather as his principal. That means he graduated… just a couple of years ago. While he’s currently the CEO of Klick-Lewis, it sounds like he truly learned the business from the trenches. He worked in the car wash first, and then spent his summer vacations in different departments around the dealership.
Warren and his wife have been married since 1980 and have three children, are both highly-motivated people and both love to study why humans make the decisions that we do. It sounds like the Lewis family enjoys spending time and traveling together, too! Their favorite trip so far is Scotland, although I haven’t gotten a chance to ask WHY that is/was their favorite.
I had the opportunity to meet Warren because of the Palmyra Area Business Association (PABA) about a year ago. Warren is nearly a charter member, joining near the beginning and being a huge supporter of the endeavor. You can tell that he really cares about his hometown.
I’m really looking forward to getting to know Warren Lewis better. And, if you’re a PABA member, take a moment to thank him for having hosted the holiday gathering the past several years! This past year gave me a tiny glimpse of what an undertaking this is, so we’re grateful that he’s willing to host us!
Keep an eye out on the blog and facebook page over the next few months, you just might see some other neat things related to local businesses!
