Christmas Catch-up {Palmyra, PA Portrait Photography}

Some of you noticed how long it’s been since I’ve posted anything new. An embarrassingly long time, actually. (And I’m pretty flattered that anyone actually noticed!) Since it was mentioned, I’ve been toying with ideas on how to catch up a bit, though catching everyone is likely not going to be possible. I’ve got 3 or 4 seniors and the kids from an ADORABLE family to share though, and I’ll post those over the next couple of weeks. If you don’t follow Facebook or Instagram, they’ll all be new!

Even if you do follow Facebook and Instagram, these few photos will be new to you. I’m so excited this year. Often at the holidays, I’m kind of Grinchy, but for whatever reason, despite that we don’t have a single thing ready, I’m finding myself a little excited about it!

One of the most exciting things to me was our new entry way railing. I sound like such an old fart¬†adult, huh? It’s weird to me, too. Anyway! More pictures of the whole project soon, as that seems like it should be it’s own post, but I got to put lights and garland there this year, and so I chose to put my wooden, handmade ornaments between the balusters. All of them were gifts, but three of them are extra special since my grandpa made them this year. Guys, he’s in his mid-80’s and I’m pretty sure he’ll outlive my kids…he’s just that stubborn!

The top of the acorn looks like a real one!! It’s the neatest thing. Seriously…I’ve been stuck on this for days. (you can roll your eyes at me, heck I’ve done it a couple times).

So yeah. I’m excited this year. Are you? What have you been up to? I’ll update more over the next few posts, though thankfully those won’t be about the family or I a whole lot, they’ll focus more on the adorable and gorgeous people that I’ve worked with….wait till you see them!
