Happenings at DB Impressions bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog!

    I'm supposed to write something about myself here...which I'm not good at! I'm Diane, a lifestyle portrait photographer in the Palmyra, PA area. I first really got into photography so that I could stop taking my kids to the "box" studios for their images...and I wanted good action shots. As I started learning some of the basics of how to use my camera and the light around me, I really became intrigued...and here I am today, creating what I hope are images of a lifetime for my clients. Some of my favorite sessions are seniors and babies and I enjoy making people look good in intimate sessions as well (these are featured on a separate blog).

Summer and life and….

Does this not look ABSOLUTELY divine? Well, it was! (I didn’t even used to LIKE black raspberries!)

I love summer. Absolutely love it. Including the ridiculous amounts of work that come with it, I love every moment. I love the heat, I love the pool, I love the copious amounts of fruit that are ripe for...

As promised – photographing the Photog’s kids {Palmyra, PA Photographer}

Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek
Earlier this week, I teased you with the thought of the photographer *gasp* attempting portraits of her own kids. OutDOOR portraits, no less, in between the rain drops that have been falling nearly ALL week, keeping said kids cooped up FAR too much. So…here is photographic evidence of why there are...

I love the pictures–kids being themselves, isn’t it great. Here’s my photo story happy Friday!

I think they are better than most staged photos because they tell a better story and give you a more realistic of life!

Shellie - June 7, 2009 - 5:03 pm

They are actually great natural shots! I know the frustration so well.
